Bike rental Waiver

IMPORTANT: READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING

By checking the box below and submitting this form, you agree to the following terms. This agreement affects your legal rights, including your right to sue.

 I understand that biking involves risks such as falls, collisions, mechanical failure, traffic, and weather hazards. I voluntarily assume all risks related to the use of rented bikes and equipment from Bike Me, including the risk of serious injury or death. 

 In consideration of being permitted to rent and use a bicycle and equipment from Bike Me, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, hereby release and hold harmless Powers Legacy Enterprises LLC, DBA Bike Me, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, hotel partners, and contractors from any and all claims for injuries, damages, or losses, including negligence, arising from my use of the rental equipment. 

 I agree to indemnify and defend Bike Me and its partners against any claims, damages, or expenses (including, but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from my use of the equipment or violation of this agreement. 

 I acknowledge that I have inspected the equipment and find it in good condition. I agree to return it in the same condition. I accept financial responsibility for any loss or damage during the rental period. 

I agree to:

• Obey all local traffic laws and hotel rules
   
• Not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs
   
• Not allow others to use the rented equipment
   
• Use a helmet if required by law or advised
   
• Refrain from off-road or unsafe riding behavior

 I confirm that I am physically fit and capable of safely operating a bicycle. 

 This agreement is governed by the laws of the state  of Florida. If any portion is found invalid, the remainder shall remain enforceable. 

By checking the box and submitting below, you agree that:

• You have read and understood this waiver;
   
• You are at least 18 years old (or a parent/guardian is signing on behalf of a minor);
   
• This electronic acknowledgment is the legal equivalent of a handwritten signature.
